Rotary cutter, check!

Tonight on my way home from work I went to JoAnn Fabric. I love that the 10% discount from being an ASG member is on top of the sale price... I bought a rotary cutter and a new (large) cutting mat for cutting out clothing. When I got home I started cutting.

It is apparent to me that I need to rethink my selections of dark/light strips. I was trying to match them a bit and that just looks wonky and strange in the quarter squares. Perhaps I'll have a little knit while I think it over.

It is really fun to see how fast sewing the quilt top is when using the jelly roll and associated techniques!

Email me more about the jelly roll stuff...sounds interesting. I'm out of suggestions about your color/print/tonal problem on the quilt squares....not sure how to fix that- sorry- hope the knitting helped!!

I like the idea of having a knit to think it over. Very very much.
