I've been out sick (ha just from life, not work) with a viral upper respiratory infection for a few days. Now I feel better, just coughing and a little laryngitis.
The Biggy Wool from Rowen didn't felt very well in terms of shrinking. I shall keep tossing it in when I have things that can run on hot.
Although I didn't post about it, I was one of the people who grabbed a Phat Fiber box in July! It's really cute but also a bit mystifying...what to do with 16 yards of this and 33 yards of that... I've cast on for a baby mitten to start with (100% alpaca fingering) and we'll see how it goes.
And I've sorted fabrics for my first-ever jelly roll and layer cake quilt! Details to follow...

I love the concept of quilting, with the complimentary fabrics and all those lovely colours. Do you rip the fabric into the strips or squares? I have never attempted a quilt.
And I am glad you are feeling better!
Ooh, sorry you were feeling sick! I've been battling with sinuses and allergies, so I know the feeling! I'd offer to help felt the unfeltable slippers, but it seems my dryer isn't quite living up to its name these days....lol! Love the fabrics for the quilt! About the fiber box- are they similar fibers? Can you make a stripey throw or something? Just an idea.
