It was a great meeting, though. I learned a lot and learned how much I don't know...which is humbling and really exciting. In the evenings, I did some knitting, some shopping at the outlet malls (cabled green sweater for $6), and a lot of reading outside. Even without the sun, it was pretty nice!Tonight my sweetie and started our housing search. Well, we looked at ads online. Phew. The only thing worse than trying to find a place for me...is trying to find a place for us together. It's a little scary. Let's see...I'm going to get married, move to a new apartment, live with a GUY for the first time ever, and start a new job. Should be an easy transition this summer. :) But one really fun thing about there being two of us is that our "rent money" goes a lot farther.

Above is my highest-level knitting ambition (ignore my eye and partial face): this woman's sweater says "I LOVE SKI" on the arm. We saw her at Whistler. Isn't that the greatest sweater? I want one. And I think I'm going to have to make it....someday. Later. :)
