We arrived back in Chicago around 4p. Not too badly jetlagged and none the worse for the wear (except for some amazing mosquito bites). My midterm exam is tomorrow, so just some pretty pictures and a quick post now.

We (my sweetie, his parents, and his mom's sister and her husband) spent three days in CinqueTerre. The first day I crashed and caught up on sleep. When I did stumble out of bed, this was the view from our bedroom window.

Although I brought my study materials, of course I ended up fascinated with fashion magazines and purchase the Italian Vogue bundle to take home. It was really fun to look at the models in stores and it made me wish I had more time to sew right now.

I did make some time to knit. I had to tink back the right front and reknit about six rows- only to discover a misaligned buttonhole at the bottom. Talk about a change in knitting style...I ripped it all out and restarted. After all this effort I'm not going to finish with a sloppy front!

The amazing prices in Italy helped restrain my shopping. But one day my sweetie and I were wandering around on our own, and we almost tripped over a yarn shop. So I bought yarn to make sweaters for a couple of hoped-for babies in the future. :)
