Getting better

A very good day today- only sneezed a bunch of times and _never_ directly on a patient. Nice, no? *grin*

So, Julia and her husband are talking about where to live. Not unlike my sweetie and I do...round and round and unable to settle on a place. But I ran through the questions on Find Your Spot (and filled in my sister's name for the personal info, thanks sis!) and my top five are:
1 Montpelier, VT (been there, loved it)
2 Johnson, VT (never been there, been close, looks good!)
3 Northampton, MA (well, duh. did my insistence on a GLBT friendly town affect that?)
4 Shelburne Falls, MA (now that is just mean...I really DO want to move there)
5 Essex, CT (ugh? Connecticut, really?) so the system isn't perfect

Sadly, we've discussed CT as an option so my sweetie can work (yay!) and we can not live in NYC (no offense). Who knows. I was kind of hoping for some West Virginia or Pacific Northwest, but I guess my prejudices in favor of the NorthEast came out. :) Did you know that 3/4 of my nephews live in Burlington?

My husband and I do the same thing. We both love the country, but are stuck here in Chicago for work. Plus, now that we have 3 kids it isn't so easy to just pack up and move. I'm going to do the Find Your Spot quiz to see where I belong!

Montpelier is a nice spot, but Johnson, VT is even more country-esque.

Okay, besides Lyme Disease, what do you have against CT? And besides that it's not VT, ME or NH?
LOL!
I'd love somewhere else besides outside of NOLA, but here we are for the foreseable future!

You are so fortunate to have all those options! I hope you find a marvelous spot! And that you will get well soon!

We want to be somewhere warm, when it's cold here (in Chicago) and somewhere comfortable when it's grotesquely hot here. Ha ha!

I have given you a Gracie's Golden Blogger Award...come on over and check it out.

Albuquerque, Portland...those are the ones that came up for me...

Okay, I got Brownsville, TX, McAllen, TX(no way!), GALVESTON(Which makes NOLA and its problems look like a bunch of whiners-which we are, but...), and several places in Mississippi that I wouldn't consider as a place where we belong. Oh, and I returned the favor and used your name. lol.
About the best result I found was Savannah GA, but that would kill my DMIL for ALL the grandbabies to be far away!
