Rainbow day

This is a quilt top I bought from an old lady who had made it. In one square she signed it with her age and the date- 92 years old! I'm putting it together as a gift. My friend Mark just graduated from his doctoral program and I'd love to have it ready for him. Then again that means finishing it this weekend. We'll see...


A client brought me this gorgeous orchid as a going away gift. Isn't it lovely? I've always heard that orchids are easy to kill so I'm going to work very hard to have that _not_ happen.
