Knitting silliness

I've wanted to make a little sweater for a while now. This is from Debbie Bliss' magazine, and it's designed to be an egg cozy.

After accidentally making one side of the neck 9 stitches and the other 6 stitches, I decided to see what some strong blocking could do. It mostly worked.

For scale, here it is next to half of the baby sweater front (getting there!).

The yarn is KnitPicks wool of the andes.

I saw those on the website (i think!) and they're cute. Don'tcha hate when you miscount stitches? I went through a period where I seemed to always do that. Its so frustrating!
