Happy Thanksgiving

The Canadian part of me wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. The American part of me will celebrate again next month.

I've been working on some projects from the stash. This is a baby quilt in progress for my brother and sister-in-law, expecting their first little one in January. I'm not crazy about the fabric but since they live in Western Pennsylvania, an extra blanket will be handy. The machine is my Singer 237, the appropriately named Fashion Mate. It was a $15 estate sale find this spring, and I've been enjoying using it as my machine at the house.

I really actually like those 1930's repros, they are perfect for baby things.
