Quilt top

Most of my work lately has been of the house/construction variety. But we have a cousin's wedding coming up in a few weeks, so I finished this quilt top tonight.


Pattern from Pam & Nicky Lintott's Layer Cake, Jelly Roll, and Charm Quilts.


Once I settled in, this was fast & easy. And amazingly, when I slowed down and pinned all the corners to match...they mostly did! I may have finally turned a new leaf in sewing slower.

For the backing I am putting strips of the dark pink on the sides of the prettiest fabric in the Verna line. Show & tell tomorrow!
